The thing is, you don't actually move like this through a large portion of the game. You have a skill tree that most of the moves are locked behind. In the beginning you're really slow and get hurt easily.

my favorite line from crane (dying light character) after jumping on trash bags is "one day im gonna land on a bag of rusty knifes" i like dying lights parkour because everything is placed just right so you can move around the map efficiently (along with it being fun) AS I WATCH MORE I WANT TO SAY MORE so a reason he runs so fast is because hes tryna not stay in the same area because zombies can hear things like landings, gunshots, and other zombies screams when they see a human. or maybe for no reason cause the parkour is so fun

To be honest, the parkour video is still kinda bad because when you get a general view of it. Its just simple vaults, falling off unbelievable heights with no roll, and climbing up/jumping on top and running on top of things. Show them more. Like more dyno where you basically climb up the buildings, or roll, or even move to the other area where there's more obstacles and challenges. How about when the night ends and volatiles are after you, you showed us the night run in the past but there wasn't any chase and I wanted them to explain what would they do in that situation where they have to parkour to escape while being chased by mutant zombies that chase you no matter what. I thought this would be better since you guys listened with sword experts/fence complaints but apparently not.

I will say that in the game if you go slower this dude is speed running it obviously but if you go slower than the movements and the actions become more realistic vaulting you get to see him grab it and leap over the barrier whether it be a fence or a short wall the climbing and the jumping and everything just looks more correct if you actually go slower he's going fast so the movements and the way the game is kind of skipping steps in order to keep up with the person who's playing

Yep.. The spartan training those guys go through will make them far better at this then the average parkour enthusiast... But even then... they won't fking accelerate mid jump... If they decreased the jump with ~20-25%and increase gravity with about the same % it would be believable... Also they could justify the big jumps with external bionic armor for legs that absorb the impact... that thing is a realty and it's not even that complex..

As a player with 100 hours on this game, the parkour video they chose to analyze isn't the best, actually, in this video they didn't show many parkour abilities the character has, like rolling or an hability called "tic tac", which allows the character to climb small wall even if there is nothing to grab to. Anyways, its so cool they bring experts to measure the level of realism of videogames.

There's a skill in Dying Light, in the athlete skill tree, that makes you able to survive a jump from ANY hight by doing a roll. At least on xbox you have to time it and press B at the exact right moment, else, it'll be some heavy damage taken

The only complaint i have here is crane does run out of stamina after running for 30 seconds then in the skill tree it goes to 45 then 60 seconds before he runs out of stamina they just didnt get to see it
