It made me cry of jealousy at how easy it is for them on their FIRST try, I am 13 yrs old, I am still stuck at that exact level and I'm not sowing ANY sign of improvement, how can it be so easy for them, it isn't fair, please, someone HELP ME, even my 10 yr old brother is better than me, there is a literal 7 yr old in my group that is better than me, why am I so bad at this, and recently I haven't been able to go to practice and they're learning so much stuff without me and getting so much better and some of them skip practice all the time and still get good places in competitions, I have no friends there, they're all friends with each other, why, how, I don't understand, and I'm too afraid to atempt to do a back flip and many other girls in my group can allredy do rondade+double back flips, and how am I meant to catch up, I love and hate gymnastics, I've been doing since I was four, I've done 4 competitions in the past, once I even got 3rd place, why can't I do this anymore, 4 years ago I could allready do half of the stuff I am learning today, and the other halth is impossible and next year I'm stuck with the same group and the same coach and right now they're allready practicing the things we need in next year's competition and I can't even do this year's stuff well, help, help, at 8yrs old I had moree flexibility than now, please, someone, tell me what to do, my mum doesn't want me to stop gymnastics beceause she thinks I just want to go the easy way, and that even if I DID want to stop gymnastics, I would have to do one last competition, and when I finaly stop I have to do another sport, and next year I'm starting exams, and I don't know what sport I want, and I realy don't know what to do

I feel so bad when guys are uncomfortable with dancing/ certain forms of artistic expression. Oh rubbish. Plenty of men dance. I'm a woman but I've never felt comfortable doing anything like dancing or drama in front of people. Why do you have to turn things into 'trauma' when it's just different personalities and affects both genders the same?

@@a.blackwater3076 And the other posters haven't made assumptions? They have said that men are ridiculed and 'traumatised' for dancing, they didn't qualify it by saying 'in some cultures' or 'in my experience'. I'm not allowed to have an opinion but they are? Perhaps I don't fit the woke victim narrative well enough. There are famous male dancers, figure skaters etc in all countries, that is a fact. In some other cultures and religions women are not allowed to dance. Do you feel their 'trauma' too?

I agree with you! I am very happy these guys took it seriously and weren't really uncomfortable at all! It really highlights the differences in the two disciplines and I'm glad the guys didn't dismiss it all as a feminine thing, they respected it like a sport and treated it seriously!

I like how you can tell how the gymnasts focus on grace and the parkour’ers focus on technically just “making” it. I assume that’s because they’re jumping on buildings so grace isn’t their focus, keeping themselves safe is. Compared to gymnasts, they have the freedom to be in a safer environment so they can focus on these graceful, powerful routines that are encapsulating. I flipping love both sports.

@@dancerklaire891 yall really dumb, the "okay boomer meme" originated to target boomers who criticized young people, electronics, their wives, and how other people dont have it as hard. You using it on someone who corrected you is just stupid and unfunny because it doesnt make sense with the meme at all lmao. Learn how to use a meme format before you do :)

Those guys are so brave trying these things for the first time like this, even if it is similar to their parkour. But what impressed me most was their humbleness and attitude. Such nice guys! ❤️

As a former gymnast, watching the guys on the high beam was hilarious! Overall, all of them are great, but Mike definitely stood out. I was impressed. I was a little nervous, because males on the high beam is a big no no out of concern for groin injuries. I am glad everything went smoothly.

I was genuinely scared for the guys' necks when they tried to vault thing xD

Vault probably had the most in line with their parkour skill set though. They all did the best at it easily though.

i was so worried for them because of the way they kept bending their arms and trying to roll with it and their heads and spines would get so close to smacking it, which does really hurt

Awesome job being unbiased & open minded. I love gymnastics I used to do it back in the 90s & just found parkour & free running back in 2010. This video hit the spot.
