Missed it by a week but hopefully back to do it in August after national day. It's a beautiful path along there but I'll be in the minority and say that I would have refereed it to incorporate the stadium precinct as well 😉

Best to get the marshal at the u-turn point near the Marina Barrage bridge end to don some flashing lights. Coz that part is downslope if you are coming from MB bridge, and in some rare instances some cyclists do get pretty fast at that portion (35 - 40kmh). Came across a few accidents over there, esp on Sat/Sun mornings. This is esp so that the runners are utilizing all of the cycling lane as well as pedestrian lane. Safety is paramount. The u-turn at the Sheares bridge is ok hi-vis is fine. On overcast days, the hi-vis does not work that well. What might happen is that the (fast) cyclist would overtake the marshals in hi-vis by their left and then barrel straight into the runners.

Ahhh, another reason to revisit Singapore! ...now 2 weeks is not enough to do all the Singaporean Parkruns ;( Greetings!

Yup!!! This is a sign you need to come back to Singapore!!!😊😊 And yes, with 4 parkrun events now, you need to spend 3 weeks here to cover the remaining ones😊😊

Hi i have been experiencing knee pain due to ITB syndrome from overuse . Been completely off running for 3 weeks due to pain in outer side of knees when running. Do u have any advice ?

Hi there. For knee pain, I suggest you see a physio and get it fixed. They can treat you as well as give you strengthening exercises you can do that helps. Such problems arise because there’s a weakness somewhere in your body when you run and your ITB is working harder to compensate for the weaknesses. Strengthening exercises prescribed by physio will help to strengthen the weak muscles.
