waitwaitwait. i just realized chris responded to ann by saying "whales dont have feet" which is technically incorrect. the feet are no longer able to be used to walk on land. but the bones very much do still exist an will for a while yet. (whales used to be land animals)

Whales have residual bones that in other animals are part of the feet. That doesn't mean they have feet. Humans have residual bones that in other animals are part of their tail - but humans don't have tails. Whales not having feet is both commonly and technically correct.

Few weeks ago my boss hired a new guy. The only male in our place, except for me. He is gay, and by that I mean that he down his whole personality to his sexuality, like "gay best friend of a female main character in an early 2000s comedy" stereotype. Annoying as hell. It gave an opportunity to use great words of Ron Swanson. "I'm surrounded by a lot women in this department... and that includes the men"
