Hi, I bought the same 8Ah, also 4Ah smart battery and the same 4.5A charger, my batteries won't charge past 75%, charger light goes from red to green, charging stops and I have only the middle yellow lamp on the battery and the app says it's 75% charged, is this a problem or batteries need time to balance and form through multiple charging cycles?

I must be honest.. I've never heard of this kind of issue! Try looking up a reset procedure on the internet. Personally I would try resetting them from the app and then re installing the firmware update using the lidl home app! I hope this helps!

@@unboxxxo I will try, maybe the app has a bug but lights on battery doesn't lie and I can't charge both of them to green light on battery, thanks for the reply, I will let you know if something changes.

@@unboxxxo Battery came with 18.05V, that's pretty low, I have 2.4A charger also and I tried to charge the battery with slower current to see what will happen, battery now have 20.7V and with 4.5A charger it only goes up to 19.7V, also the app now shows 100% level, I saw few videos where battery can't go past 91-93% without smart charger, they all used 4.5A charger, it's not impossible that little charger is better, it's just slow... This is the first charging process, I didn't do any work, I will see what will happen after the battery is being discharged and charged again, the final conclusion is yet to be made.

for some reason everytime i go on the lidl app my 3 smart 8ah batteries aren't connected via bluetooth i re connect and the next time i go to check they're not connected again why do they keep disconnecting

I Giddy,I got no clue, to be honest with you I rarely use the app, it's nice and all but in my humble opinion it got way too many bugs! If I were you I would just wait for the next update! (btw I had the same issue many times when using it months ago, but after the update it started working...) thanks for your comment!

Hello man, thanks for the comment, I got the two batteries at lidl, let me tell u.. I was just lucky, they provided six for the whole place, just the day of the "offer". It is super difficult to get the 8 Ah batteries at Lidl : (

Hi i have trouble connecting the battery ( 4A smart) to the home app, the loader i could connect, the battery when i hold the red button gives the yellow light but when i release it the red en green turn on immediately, should only yellow be lit for connecting ? Also it keeps on giving the message in the app, turn on bluetooth but it is on already (samsung S 23) , any suggestions, thx.

Hello and thank you very much for your comment! Have you tried holding some seconds while pushing the botton? I remember I had to press for some seconds during the first ever connection (offvideo), then it apparently got turned on and connected! (I always keep my xiaomi phone connected to Bluetooth and wifi, never knows ) I hope I could help better but I am not an expert in using smart battery! Anyway thank you so so much for watching my video!

@@unboxxxo yes did min. 5 up to 15 seconds. Just looked up complaints about the app, (rated 2.1 out of 5) found 5 more people who have the same problem, hope they patch i fast, ill wait it out. thx
