One question Ive always wanted to ask an elder guitar player is, as genres change over the years, is it easier or harder to pick up, compared to most players in their first 5 years when they go exploring genres by the decade.

Thank you for asking man. I read the question to him and this is his answer: When you only stick with one genre forever and ignore everything else you cannot evolve and develop to a full extent. Jimi Hendrix inspired him to even start playing the guitar. Over the time and his life he always picked up something new from every possible genre. Blues is his native genre, but he always found inspiration from other genres such as jazz, country, rock or rap. He sends best regards to you
