I think there are a lot of metalheads like me that tend to look down on metalcore, i'll listen to almost any genre of metal but throw core in there and I tend to ignore it. Parkway Drive is like the only band from one of the "core" genres that I have really enjoyed, but since I knew they were a core band I avoided listening to them for years. Wacken probably exposed a shit ton of people like me to one of the first metalcore bands they actually liked.

I've never seen another front man like Winston. He put so much energy in Every. Single. Show. He is one of the kindest person I ever met. It's almost 10 years I follow this band and they get only higher and higher with their songs. Last time I saw them live in Milan on February 2019 I got ghost bumps for the entire show.
