Good job brother. I have a couple suggestions, but will keep it to just 1. You may want to put in a clay thimble where you plan on cementing around your pipe instead of pouring cement tight to that horizontal pipe. (If thats the plan). When that horizontal pipe rots out and needs replacing, youll play hell getting that one out, and getting a new one in. I suppose you could do several wraps of sheet metal tightly around where you plan on pouring cement to create a tiny amount of space to slide out/slide in a replacement pipe should the need arise. Been snowing here in alaska for the last day or so, and today is the day to clean the woodstove. Looking forward to part 2!

Gundaddy knew everything about chimneys and stoves God Rest His Soul Anyways is there anything in your tool shed apart from a chainsaw that I don't have an identical tool in my tool shed ,constantly amazed how much we have in common , You'd love it here in the winter it's not just survival but it's an adventure, Green neck island Billy way of doing things 😊

I can't help but notice your fig tree , will figs fully ripen in your area , if they do I am envious because in my neighborhood only the early figs ripen and the very many 2nd crop always fail to finish. At this time my fig tree looks like some sort of alien plant with all of the leaves gone and dozens of green balls on every branch, my only hope is global warming for a complete crop. Thanks for the stove video, there is always more than one way to do a job!
