That's not the Alfa turbo engine. It's actually there brief attempt at a normally aspirated V10 that was also used in the Alfa 164 Procar effort. It sounds pretty good there at the end.

Four five years before f1 rules changed , Alfa Romeo was the first team that had already built a F 1 V 10 naturally aspirated engine. It had already a formula 1 V10 naturally aspirated engine in 1985!!!!!

Mai vista ma il pilota e Giorgio Francia? Mi ricordo un prototipo con quel motore e una 164 per 1 campionato che non è mai stato fatto una roba tipo le shilouette gr 5

Allora si era Giorgio Francia a collaudare quel motore che fu montato sulla 164 procar e fu provata nel 1988 a Monza da patrese che fece la apripista peccato che quel campionato fu cancellato prima ancora di nascere ufficialmente

So we can assume the 4cylinder turbo was 86 but when was this V10? Given the Alfa Procar was shown in the summer of 1988 having been built by the former Brabham facility, would this be late 87/early 88?

Il motore montato su Alfa Romeo 164 procar questo povero motore fu sfortunato per via del cambio regolamento che rabbia non averlo visto in azione sarebbero potuti aggiungersi altri successi per il marchio.
