In this video we walk around the suburb of Parmelia in Perth, Western Australia.
Parmelia has been in the news recently for being one of the best suburbs for investors. From what we saw it was also a great suburb to live in. Most houses are on large blocks and it seems to be a very peaceful and family friendly suburb.

Hello again. Oh yes. Parmelia next to Orelia. Remember it well. I drove thousands of kms all over Perth from Carabooda to Golden bay over 20 months. We had to leave Perth. Thanks for the memories.

I love wathching these videos from Melbourne be a ex perthy, especially no it winter and look at that sky! I remember people always turned there noses up at parmelia when i grew up in Perth. my ex missues mum moved to Orelia and i found no issues with the area or surrounds and it was cheap back five years ago....prices are crazy now

It’s in the buffer zone of the Kwinana Industrial strip. And the two new waste to energy plants . Which will be burning residential rubbish. They will tell you it’s safe . Something to consider.

There does seem to be a lot of different industries surrounding Parmelia - especially ones were you can see a lot of smoke.

Seems to be if you buy land over there will be very hard to find builder(right one)isn’t it my friend?! Cheers mate

That's correct. There is a shortage of tradesmen and unfortunately some builders are still lying about how long it takes to build a house. There is no such thing as a fixed contract so when you sign a contract you're basically giving the builder a blank cheque as they will continue to hit you with price increases every couple of months. We've heard some builders have increased the price of the house by over $100K by the time the house has finished. Some builders are also going bankrupt leaving people with a mortgage and no house.

@@vloggersontheloose ohh man I know that very well.I am doing this in uk for 20 years now all like each other here as well .in uk there is no black or Land you should buy old house or flat in auction and then start to do renovations. all builders jumping from your project to other and exactly like there waste 1000s£the money and time .take care man keep watching you gays all the time .👏

Unfortunately there is no such thing as honour anymore - even if you've signed a contract and paid all the fees you still get screwed over. Glad you enjoy our videos 🙂

I wonder why most of Perth suburbs don't have footpath? People walking on the tarmac is very dangerous.

Unfortunately they only seem to be on the main streets. It frustrates us as well as we walk around.
