This was so much better that the umpteenth rendition of some tired ballad like many other contestants do. He was focused, energetic, intelligent about what he wanted to do, funny, and that was actually a very catchy version of his original song (and how great was it that he did basically the same song but in a completely different style that made it seem new and fresh). Send this guy through! Most of the judges are in the pocket of big parma, anyway. Make your voices heard, America! :D EDIT: I have to think, if Bon Scott-era AC/DC had sung about parmesan cheese, it would have sounded a lot like this :)

Judges don’t understand Parmesan is a synonym of something you want but embarrassed to get it and the system is against you the whole time that you shouldn’t be even asking because it’s not seen as polite or socially acceptable. I love his subliminal message hidden in this song. And it is so fun. If he has more songs he could rock it. I totally love this one hit wonder approach. But he is talented. He is funny. Lapidus is a great vocalist, a great satirist, a magnificent entertainer, a great showman, and he obviously knows how to put up a show. But I suspect that the reaction of the judges is an act itself.
