She was supposed to sing Valentine in Dresden. However, because of the COVID-19 outbreak, the performance was cancelled. I can only hope that when everything reopens, Hulkar Sabirova will triumph as Valentine de St Bris no matter where she performs this role. After all, the opera world needs more Meyerbeer and Les Huguenots can bring people into loving one of his most popular operas of all time.
