I own a Parnis Daytona copy and honestly I love it! Some people might wince at the thought of an ‘homage’ although it’s more a blatant copy.. but reality is I’m 23 year old and don’t expect to have the spare £15k lying around for a genuine Daytona any time soon haha The GMT is on my list to add to the collection also Side note: loving the channel and the rate you’re uploading! @Luke Jennings: Thanks for your comment which is a big motivation for me! These Chinese “design-copies/homages” really made me realize, that I’m simply enjoying the design of a certain watch and not the reputation of a certain brand while saving a lot of money for the important things in life. Are there actually any important things beside watches😉😂? Thanks again for your support👍

For me.. there’s some watches I won’t buy an homage because the real thing seems within grasp.. my 2 grail watches I want to own are a Black Bay 58 and a Speedmaster reduced.. and I believe I could own the pair for under around £5000? Which isn’t unrealistic over a few years However, the price of ‘genuine’ Daytona’s, Pepsi GMT’s, submariners etc is just madness! So I’ll happily wear an ‘homage’ of one if there pieces .. but that’s just how I see it. There’s a brand called Tisell who make great homage watches of the submariner! It would be amazing if you could review one of these ☺️👌🏻

@Luke Jennings: I totally agree with you. Rolex prices are going crazy right now and the brand is really overhyped. The Black Bay 58 and the Speedmaster Reduced would be a cool combo. Since both watches are black, I would personally go for one of the countless special editions or variants of the Speedmaster reduced (Michael Schumacher (especially the Panda dial variant!), the cream dial etc.).

watchyouwant? Very good point.. there are many limited edition variants of the speedy.. Probably a good idea getting one that differs more from the Bb58 But that’s a problem for a richer, future Luke.. for now I’ll stick to my Casio’s, Tisell, Parnis’ and Steinhart haha

If it were a copy it would have "ROLEX" on the dial. It's a homage, and there isn't anything wrong with that !

Love both my Parnis GMT and Yacht Master. Great quality and performance, especially for the price. Not saying Swiss quality, but for a fraction of the cost, definitely a quality level that easily meets my cost to benefit ratio. Got my 2 Parnis from Parnis.org. Apparently, there may be quality issues sometimes from other sources of Parnis based on some commenters on KZbin.

Not purchased from Parnis I assume ? Their website States different quality (Lower) if bought from elsewhere , i.e. Ali Express etc. Instead of Parnis directly. Just curious as to if that is true or not for the approximately $60 (Lower) price difference.

@Island Terror: yes, I ordered it from EBay and I’m also curious whether or not these different qualities actually exist. Unfortunately I don’t have a tool to test the crystal in order to verify whether it’s sapphire or mineral.

I could not notice any difference between Parnis website watches and those from ebay traders, in my opinion they are all of the same (good) quality.

Don't buy one !! ...... their quality control is non existant ..... mine keeps stopping ...... obviously it has particles of dirt and other metal bits which fall in between the gears ..... obviously put together in a dust storm!!

Sorry to hear that! Haven’t had any problems with Parnis watches yet. Maybe I was just lucky.
