Great video Chris!!! Be careful, once that fish is gaffed put the reel in freespool. You don’t want any extra tension between you and the madmac. That fish might headshake sending that lure right into your face! 22:27

Great to see! Always remember your first. Bite of the heart seals it!! A suggestion for you. Since you North River doesn't have any rodholders in the gunnel consider getting something fabbed up to go in your downrigger mount. Maybe a short "Y" yoke to raise the rod up off the gunnel a little more for a little better leverage and help controlling the fore/aft movement of the rod. Congrates on the great day.
