That video was also a great help in how you set things up, thank you. My fishing partner and I took an older boat out for our first try at open water fishing. We have no fish finder so it was dumb luck and we targeted Lings and rockfish. We did well, with two limits of rockfish, and three nice Lings. My friend released one Ling. Next trip out we would like to give Salmon and Halibuts a try. As I said, you are a big help!!

Pick up a Garmin Striker 4CV for 189.00 easy to setup and use, smaller screen but thats what you get with a cheaper model, bigger screens cost more, hundreds more

I appreciate the support of the channel! I use willyweather.com not an app. I do google search for example "bodega bay swell forecast willyweather" so location followed by swell forecast willweather. I like the visual graph they make. It sees to be accurate as well.

Another awesome day fishing! Don't know how you do it finding the perfect days to go out. I thought last Tuesday had all the signs of a perfect day (like 4ft at 18 sec) but ended up being nasty swells and wind. Still got a nice 25 and 29 pounder out where you were at, just a rough day!

@@ChrisPfish2 let your oil get hot first before you throw the salmons on it so you can sear it. You could have been marinating the salmons in your soy sauce while you were going for halibut. Just technique stuff, I’m sure it’s amazing regardless, that salmon is stupid fresh, and I probably sound like an asshole. But we can do better
