(Although technically, most people consider two or three to be the cutoff point from using colt/filly/foal and instead start using mare/stallion. It's really only the racing industry that calls them fillies and colts for those extra few years.)

When the episodes had just come out, I actually saw a theory on Tumblr about the teleporting and it seemed pretty reasonable. Chrysalis can teleport Cadance and Twilight down to the caves, cause she knows where point A (example, the throneroom) and point B (the caves) are exactly. Cadance and Twilight can't teleport back, cause they don't know exactly how far down below the castle they are, so they don't know how far there is between point A and point B. As well as I remember, we haven't seen Twilight teleport from a place to another where we haven't seen her before, so she knows where point A & B is at and how far.

You actually care way more about this when you read the comics and learn how Shining and Cadence came together. Turns out, Shining was the one who hired her to foalsit Twilight. Basically, she was the popular girl and he was the nerd. Standard stuff. But Shining and his friends were freaking hilarious in that comic. Especially when Shining is telling the story and Cadence is commenting "I think you're blowing it a little out of proportion" and Twilight replies "You should here how our dad tells it. There was a gofer." Let it be known - the funny guy always gets the girl.

Me and my sister pointed out to each other where the hell Luna had gone and this is what we came up with: A: Luna is a REALLY heavy sleeper as to not have woken up from changeling minions blasting the city to smithereens or hurling themselves into the protective barrier. B: Given on how weak the show portrays the two sisters she was captured and like her elder sister, trapped in a disgusting green cocoon of changeling mucus. C(AKA the most likely option): The writers forgot about her until after the wedding. Also, if there was a possible infiltration, wouldn't it have helped if Celestia sent a messenger pony or a letter via Spike to alert the Mane 6 of a possible future attack? It isn't all that hard, just pick up a quill, ink and some paper and boom, send it to Spike. Ponyville is the closest town to Canterlot so wouldn't it have helped to have nearby towns/cities be prepared for a possible attack?

1:01. Well, as EvoWizard25 said about that on Derpiboo. There are multiple reasons for why they still would be happy. 1: This is their son’s wedding. They would attend regardless of Twilight and would be happy for their son. 2: They could’ve been told that Twilight didn’t want to come or something. Shining was being brainwashed. Why is it when people critique this episode, they tend to ’Oh poor Twilight’ When Twilight was raving like a lunatic and probably wasn’t sleeping to add to it. Her attack was ’She’s evil, cause she shot a green beam that made my brother’s eyes go wobbly and she’s kind of a jerk.’

It's worth mentioning that Shining Amor, Princess Celestia, and all of the Mane Six NEVER apologize to Twilight for doubting her. Especially since they should hqve been more willing to trust her instincts to be correct after the return of Nightmare Moon. Not to mention Shining Armor should have been especially apologetic since he kicked his own sister out of the wedding. You don't kick your embarrassing relatives out of the wedding, you just move them to the furthest table in the reception. This two-part special is the reason why I have so much contempt for Shining Armor as a character.

One thing that bothered me in this episode that I think was a major issue was Celestia sending them to get the Elements of Harmony. The same Elements of Harmony that are locked behind a magic lock. A lock only openable by Celestia, as shown in Return of Harmony Pt. 1. Am I seriously the only person that's bothered by this!?
