I showed my 12yo niece and 8yo nephew the finished picture of Joey and then they wanted to watch the entire video with their faces right up to the screen. They loved the story of Joey and were amazed at how you created the parrot. They were sad, though, that your sister couldn’t keep Joey. Thanks again for such a wonderful video.

What a sweet story and such a great idea. So inspiring. My daughter drew a bulldozer for my little grandson and he and I colored it. He kindly gave me the picture. I decided to turn it into a stitching project and put it on a pillow I made. I gave it to him for his 4th birthday. You would have thought I had given him the moon. I wish I could put the picture of it here.

Marion you could show your works, teach classes, travel to far off places doing it and make a lot of money all while doing the things you love!! Are their any county art fairs you could enter any of your pieces to start you being confident in your work? Joey is so realistic. My husband, Jerry, says you are fantastic! I’ve been practicing stitches for my crazy quilt patch. I got interested in stitching because I have a white quilt from a retail store when Jerry and I got married 58 years ago. It has gotten so soft and lovely but is has developed holes. I first thought I would mend them with darn. I’m not great at stitching. I have been watching you and K3N since you both began broadcasting. I’ve improved greatly. Now I have decided to make Crazy Quilt blocks that will cover each hole. I have taken it out of the linen closet and noticed the edges are somewhat frayed. I think I will do a blanket stitch all around it. Blanket Stitch is my favorite stitch. Love you and your work. I admire you good soul that shines through. 🧵🪡♥️

I think birds 🦜are underrated when it comes to forming a connection with a person. Joey used to sit on my dad's wheelchair when he went to get his newspaper every morning. Everyone spoke to him and he would just sit on the handles there and back. People thought he must have had his wings clipped..but he hadn't. He was just happy where he was..

We had a similar story with a rabbit called Fred, a wild one that became quite friendly to us in the yard and had us well trained to bring out food. Well, Fred had an adorable litter right under our dining room window! Lovely parrot, your talent is amazing to watch!

A gift well worth waiting for! How beautifully you have stitched Joey. There was a pet store located outside the gym my husband goes to and it had a parrot in a cage out the front. My husband would spend time with the parrot, Larry, every time he went to the gym. Larry was very cute and loved ‘scratch scratch’, bending down to receive gentle scratching on the back of the neck. Then just like your Joey, to everyone’s surprise, Larry laid an egg!😊
