That was a wonderful tour! For the dome I was gonna guess Miami Seaquarium but Epcot makes sense. Twenty five cents admission was probably not cheap back then. Nice show once again:)

Excellent video my friend! Very interesting! Those "wild" parrots span all the way up to West Palm. Always wondered where they came from! Thanks for entertaining me today. :) -Al

This place is absolutely beautiful and it seem like you had the whole entire place to yourself :-) the cell phone tour is very unique I really like that. I can imagine it is very cost-effective for the place to instead of handing out . headsets. I admire natural art too. It was a whimsical labyrinth of fun :) Thank you for sharing this beautiful place and sharing it so well. It was awesome
@SuperEnthused6 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's true, I should have mentioned that it's FREE to get in and the audio tour is free, so it's a very low/no cost way to spend a day! But also, there are many ways to support this place and I have given and will continue to give to help them keep this wonderful place going!! Thank you as always my friend, you are awesome!!!

I like the more densely vegetated portion of the garden with the dense tree canopy. It's so exotic. It reminds me of Sunken Gardens in St. Pete.

Great Video Jackie.. This is the second video that has sparked my interest to make a trip to South Florida.. And BIG THANKS for taking the time to read the signs to us.. That is one thing that disappoints me with some Tubers.. Buzz past a sign, that some of us might like to read..
@SuperEnthused6 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for that feedback! I love reading signs and plaques but I sometimes wonder if it’s too much info so it’s good to know its helpful! I love sharing all the beauty and special places south Florida has to offer :))) thank you so much for watching and for the comment!

I loveeeee pinecrest gardens. The entrance was free on national park day. I love their cute petting zoo. Its so calming there too. Its fun there on dog days as well. (Paws4you). They raise money for rescued dogs. The art festival is there as well.
@SuperEnthused6 жыл бұрын
I love it too!!! It's been free every time I've visited, I'm not sure if they ever charge? I've been to some of Paws4you events and I love them, I'll make sure to go next time I see they're doing something at the garden!!

I was so upset when they moved Parrot Jungle out to Key Biscayne - taking it away from the locals to better serve the wealthy tourists. And alas, now it's future is in question. So sad. But I'm so happy to see that the gardens are still there in Pinecrest!
@SuperEnthused6 жыл бұрын
So true, and now look! I too am glad though that Pinecrest Gardens is making wonderful use of this space and preserving some natural habitats for future generations!!
