@@ParrotPlayhouseChannel Dear maybe you should been training those birds to getting back nicely to the wildlife, where are from. Years ago I' d have nearly 50 parrots including another's species of birds,each ones having different personalities and easily recognized themselves. But all of THEM was absolutely free to coming and goings ,flying everywhere outside and getting back, when they wanted. Finally I must to move out of that place, some nostalgic about themselves, but not worried, because always had been independent free birds. Ciao .Linda. 🐔

@@marasol7169 Birds born and raised in captivity are not able to safely return to the wild. They will die, and there is no way to train a bird raised in captivity to be a wild bird. This is all they have ever known. Parrot Playhouse is a major advocate that these birds should NOT be pets and are meant to live in the wild, but unfortunately there are still people out there who are breeding these birds in captivity and there are still people purchasing these birds from breeders. Parrot Playhouse only supports adopting birds (often abused and neglected by previous owners who bought them from a breeder) from sanctuaries, NOT from breeders, in hopes that one day if everyone goes through sanctuaries and not breeders, that there will no longer be birds in captivity because the breeders will be put out of business. Birds absolutely belong in the wild, but the ones who are already in captivity will remain in captivity for the rest of their lives because their instincts have been erased, and there is no getting them back. Not to mention the many health problems some rescue birds have, often stemming from abuse and mistreatment from previous owners, making these birds an even bigger target in the wild and unable to survive on their own. All anyone can do for a bird already in captivity is only adopting birds from rescue sanctuaries and providing them with the most comfortable, happy, stimulating, fulfilling and loving environment possible.

Queen Victoria makes me smile 🥰🤍She is precious! I love how you prepare the food for your parrots...my Umbrella Cockatoo throws anything green across the room especially broccoli! He will eat fruits but not a fan of veggies.. Your feathered babies are so good taking their medication...once I had to put prescribed eye drops in mine...I think I was only successful like 3 times..he ran, hid, bite, everything imaginable so he wouldn't take the eye drops..😏 💙💙🕊💙🕊💙💙

Eye drops are one of the hardest things to give a bird! I even hate drops in my eyes! Have you tried to finely chop greens and sprinkle them on top of a fruit mix? Also, try mixing in quinoa and pasta birds eat it right up! Birds can be super picky especially Toos and Greys! Thank you for watching!💚

I am in lock down in the UK, and haven't seen another human being for weeks now, but the wild birds in my garden that I look after throughout the year, are a joy, so I don't feel lonely. @@ParrotPlayhouseChannel yes I got his medicine for 2 months at the pharmacy they tell me alot of things I have never known, I guess they know alot more than the media does.I am thinking of moving to a area where their is not many people around because this virus will be around for a while.The veterinarian, called me and said that it will be around for a while that's why they gave me refills for 4 months.they tell me to clean everything that you get from the super market, throw boxes away.I was going to order some groceries from Amazon but then I saw in Queens NY they closed down Amazon due to a worker having Corona virus.so if we order from Amazon we have to clean everything very good.I pray that God, will, protect you and your mom and all of your birds.Love you april.have a blessed evening

I just saw "Parrot Playhouse" for the first time today. I love your straight forward, on point approach to the life of living with parrots. I felt like I was actually watching my daily routine. I loved that you covered what you feed your birds and when. Administering meds twice a day. Toweling and not toweling. I think I could write a mini book on how much I liked your video! Please keep them coming because I think all who watch can learn something new from you no matter at what level each of us are. As for the hawks and other birds of prey......be extremely careful for sure. I have been outside with my birds(in their cages) and a hawk has swooped right down landing on top of a cage. I started using a huge umbrella over each cage so the hawks can't see my sweet birds. And, last but not least, thank you for the link to the foods you use. I ordered some sample packs to try it out.

Baby has to have eye drops twice a day for the rest of his life! It's a brutal situation, but without the drops, Baby's cornea can tear. I can't ever leave him even for a night! No one can give Baby the drops in his eye. Casey enjoyed hours in the sun today. I will take a picture and share it on social media for you and everyone to see. Have a wonderful day my friend! 💚

I would love to have a Congo African Grey Parrot. I raised them for 26 years. I was concerned about their future so let a breeder in Texas take them. The birds were brother and sister. They were therapy for me. I raised them from 9 days old. I had their parents.I was due for surgery feared I could not care for them. Extremely bad decision, 4 years later I’m still grieving for them The man bullied me to give them up. I think about them constantly.

Good that you have your mother to assist you, because it is too much work for 1 person. Vicky danced herself into the new day.😁. Delicious food to start with, and then the medication. They all look very happy. And finally it is your turn. Coffee, breakfast and a shower. it is indeed a lot of work, but it is work that you do with love in your heart, and that is what the birds feel.

that's awesome you take such good care of these birds , god bless you , and thank you for educating the public on these wonderful birds, people need to understand its a lot of work and can test your patients so they just don't run out and buy one just too turn it over to a shelter when they decide its to much work or the birds to loud, I've never worked so hard in my life with one cockatoo it takes a certain kind of person to be a care giver for birds, I think you have to like crazy a little bit, But having my cockatoo has been one of the greatest things I have ever done even though its a lot of work, I don't know how you and your mom do it your saints......Thanks for the videos keep them up

This is so true, at the first moment where the sun's rays illuminate the sky to at least gray, the Resident Feathered ⏰️s in the lanai inform the pair of primates, slumbering inside the house, to get our mammalian butts in gear. This being Florida, where parrots can be accommodated inside a lanai 12 months of the year, wild birds singing in the trees around us are a gentle version compared to 8 shrieking and impatient pstticines. Let's just say they get breakfast before thoughts of coffee are ever entertained!
