Shalom Aliza Lipkin! Love is not a force which can be reduced to language. Love cannot be seen or even touched, it must be felt with the heart. Love consists of different stages. 1. A love for your family and friends. 2. A love for animals and marine life. 3. Romantic love . All of the above illustrate the depth and varying degrees of love. However, the love for “ Hashem” is different in “ Kind” not “ Degree.” Every breath of life is a breath we take for God. This breath of life is inconsequential and worthless if our mind, body, and soul do not encompass the substance enriched through “ Hashem.” Shabbat Shalom Aliza!
