Parsnip Harvest 2024

We have a high wind and torrential rain warning for tomorrow 😮 couldn’t bloody wait til Boxing Day of course. I’m definitely growing more parsnips in pots and sifting soil more. Yikes lily beetles and snails and shield bugs are all in there 😱😱. All is not lost 👍 and a fresh parsnip is awesome. Lovely pesticide free parsnips, that's what we all grow them for 😊. So pleased you got a better crop this year and they'll taste so good because you grew them😋

I had the same issue with the early frost killing off my parsnip tops but I still managed to get some decent parsnips. I think I also suffered from overcrowding. We live and learn 😂

@adamdaykin4052 lol, can't guaranteed I won't make the same mistakes again though, time is my biggest issue to rectify mistakes. 😁

I have harvested zero for Christmas the only planting I have managed since August onion's and garlic, had a 6 day week since July at work next year will be different of until the 6 th of January so if its dry I'll be at the plot every day. Have a great Christmas
