Hello, me again 🙄😁 is it OK to save seeds from my chillis when I have a few different ones growing near each other? Thank you.

@isobeltyrer2371 hi, you can save them but theres no guarantees they will be the same as the parent plant. They will still grow.

Hi, I've got a question about chillies/ peppers. I often have seedlings that have difficulty extricating their seed leaves from the seedcase. What I do is put a drop of water on the seedcase and then a few minutes later try to work it off, sometimes with success. Other people don't seem to talk about this. Is that because if you're using covered propagators and watering with spray bottles the seeds quite easily discard the case because it is softer?
@Allotment-of-the-DeadКүн бұрын
@TheGDJames sometimes it's just the nature of the seed, this "helmet head" effect happens when the humidity is quite low, with enough moisture they should shed the seed case. Propagators keep the humidity quite high.
