I don't remember if I ever commented on this but I always meant to so here we go. This song is incredibly beautiful and has helped me grieve for the past 6 years ever since the passing of my grandmother. She had been admitted to the hospital for an infection and her frail state and antibiotics didn't help. She developed pneumonia and she was too weak to fight it off. She was the single most important person in my life. I had been commuting back a few hundred miles back home to go visit her multiple times a week during her hospital stay. When I got the call that I needed to hurry home. It was pouring rain and I had Spotify on a radio playlist and this song came on. To say I was an emotional mess would be an understatement. It was though it was speaking directly to me and describing my lovely grandmother and the current situation. I put this song on repeat and just listened to it on the whole trip home. I have a very large extended family and I knew I wouldn't be able to emotionally handle interacting with them as I went to see her for the last time so I just put in my wireless Beats and kept listening to this song as I was at her bedside. I kept holding her hand and whispering in her ear how grateful I was to her for raising and protecting me. The bond I formed with this song became so intense that anytime I would hear it after she eventually passed away I would just breakdown emotionally. It's been a long 6 years but I can finally listen to this beautiful song without becoming a hot mess. (except for now, since I've been typing this and reliving the moment while listening to it.) This comment will never make its way to the artist but if I was an artist I would want to know how influential my art impacted a person's life. This might be a small gesture but is my way of showing my gratitude by taking the time to write these words. Thank you.

he's got talent and alot of people dont see this guy sing and sadly his talent wont make it out to the world. but there are at least 4 million people who know's this guy. so if we tell more people he will make it to the radio and make more amazing pieces like this one. he's pretty much the new version of the weekend.

One of the most underrated songs for a break up I've ever heard about a mutual split when you both have lost the love you once had we're always playing to an audience, there's always someone giving an opinion, reflecting back on how good it was and how things no longer are this is a true master peice, Excellent work Parson

Darling, darling, oh, turn the lights back on now Watching, watching, as the credits all roll down Crying, crying, you know we're playing to a full house, houseNo heroes, villains, one to blame While wilted roses fill the stage And the thrill, the thrill is gone Our debut was a masterpiece But in the end for you and me Oh, the show, it can't go onWe used to have it all, but now's our curtain call So hold for the applause, oh And wave out to the crowd, and take our final bow Oh, it's our time to go, but at least we stole the show At least we stole the show At least we stole the show At least we stole the show At least we stole the showAt least we stole the showDarling, darling, you know that we are sold out This is fading, but the band plays on now We're crying, crying, so let the velvet roll down, downNo heroes, villains, one to blame While wilted roses fill the stage And the thrill, the thrill is gone Our debut was a masterpiece Our lines we read so perfectly But the show, it can't go onWe used to have it all, but now's our curtain call So hold for the applause, oh And wave out to the crowd, and take our final bow Oh, it's our time to go, but at least we stole the show At least we stole the show At least we stole the show At least we stole the show Stole the showAt least we stole the show Stole the show At least we stole the show
