Excellent, worked beautifully. I used a fire loop with a black background that apparently didn't have an alpha channel, so the background stayed black. I fixed that by using an RGB node (sampling the black) and a vector math node set to distance, which I got from someone else's tutorial after searching for "blender transparent color." (I mentioned this just in case someone else has this issue.) Subbed! 🤠

How do you increase the framerate on alpha videos? I'm able to import them fine, but the playback itself is very slow.

I just tried it in the last version 3.4 Alpha and it worked. maybe you missed some step or changed something in your shader.
