I was able to get a front pan with toe board for my 78 Firebird, but not from NPD.

I made two L shaped 10mm thick heavy brackets which attached to both door hinge mounts at same time. Then jacked up car on these and took frame off. Back also jacked to keep level. Different model but same issue.

Just 3 years later and everything from rear tail panel to the toe board is now available for later 2nd gen F-bodies! Funny though , the right side toe board (to the original seam on the floor pan) cost me more than the rest of the floor board from the seam back. WTF?

Personally I would tack weld a piece of box tube underneath the car on the Rockers to stabilize the car laterally . If you're still leaving the tunnel in everything else should be copacetic.

Be careful from Rockauto... they have catalog errors. Classic Industries is where I got the correct toe board

Can’t be 100% but looks like RockAuto May have what you’re after. Not sure quite how much length in the toeboard you actually need!

HAHAHAHAHA I was wondering when we'd get around to the Starliner. Torino belonged to my one of my greatest friends who was claimed by cancer in 2017. I bought the car to help his wife out. We hope to get it in the next couple of months.

Honestly, I thought hard about that. Harder than I probably should have. LOL. But note that I DID consider it. Tell ya what, we'll do episode 460 as a Ford Episode to make up for this one. Can't do 430 (a Mercury MEL engine), we'll still be wrapped up in the Camaro.

im thinking you are going to need to take the entire front clip off that car. Sheet metal comes off as one big chuck and the frame section. I wouldn’t want all that weight hanging on the car when you cut that metal out.

I forgot to add the Part 1 to the title before I put the video up at 9:00 last night (Fixed it just now). Sorry. I fully expected to have the floor out out this week but we ran into issues that made me stop. If you do projects and barrel ahead, well, good on you. What you see took up 6 hours of shooting. And I ran into something I was unfamiliar with. So, I stopped and asked for help from the viewers. I'd rather get it right, and show the complete process (foibles and all) than just ball on devil may care.
