This lady was given probation instead of jail time. She was not "owed" probation it was a gift. The excuse that things were not set up for her to complete probation successfully or that she had better things to do (in this case work) says to the court you don't value the gift of probation. Doing what the court requires of you while on probation is easier than jail time, but this is a hard concept for some people.
