Mazda 3 Liftback also not so good fuel consumption if in KL city traffic. Full tank with ron97 about 450-480km range. Back seats abit tight for big adults. But I still chose to get one in July 2024 even after testing Golf GTI, Civic RS, Model 3 and Bmw 330i. Mazda still wins in all aspects except engine performance since others mentioned are turbo and EV engines.

Agree with you. GTI have the power, but don't have the looks. 330i have the space and power, but lack safety features

@@yj9465 They do care, that’s why Mazda is busy swapping out the old 6AT into 8AT with their latest cars like the CX60,70,80 and 90.

The 6 speed is sufficient for the 2.0 NA. Mazda is using 8 speed for the newer models because of the 3.3 inline six. Longer gear ratios have its advantages because the engine is supposed to rev higher for more power due to it's NA nature. If anything, can just use manual mode
