Part 1: Breaking Yield Records - Indoor Cultivated Morel Mushrooms Harvested in January 2023

The Danish Morel Project set a new yield record for cultivating black morel mushrooms in January 2023, achieving 5.6 kilograms per square metre in one of their pallet cultivation systems. This corresponds to a yearly yield of 15.3 kg per square metre.
In Copenhagen, Denmark, the biologists, scientists and twin brothers Jacob and Karsten Kirk have invented and developed a method for controlled indoor cultivation of black morel mushrooms (Morchella sp.) all-year-round.

It's freaking morel mushrooms, it's a delicacy, a treat, if you are trying to grow morels or any mushroom for nourishment you are an idiot. As to the why of this video, to show and advertise for their business that it's possible, this is a big accomplishment in the mushroom growing community and maybe to show off a bit, what's so wrong with that, they probably worked really hard on this venture.
