In this video series I demonstrate how to install a set of kick panel speakers into my 1977 Chevrolet C10 truck. The first thing you need to know is whether you have a cab (truck) WITH factory A/C or WITHOUT factory A/C. Often called the A/C cab and non-A/C cab. My truck is the non-A/C cab and unfortunately the only kick panel speakers I could find were for the factory A/C cab. So in this series, I show you how I custom installed this set of kick panel speakers. The passenger side kick panel speaker is the same regardless of whether you have an A/C cab or non-A/C cab. The difference is on the driver's side of the truck. That's where the modifications and custom installation will need to happen. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the great video, now I know what I am up against when I want to put some speakers there. Mine is a '77 Blazer with A/C. The A/C still works just fine.

This video is a saver. I had a shop install my panels and they pulled out the vent panels and didnt reinstall them so now I have to redo everything they did minus the wiring.

Will the vent open and the radio blasting will it blow air thru the speaker and make it sound distorted

Dom Juan I just looked them up look up speaker panel Box Chevy 1981 c10 and it pulls it up on the screen on amazon or eBay what ever u got!

Will the kick panel vents open with those speaker panels? Love the vids by the way, I must say they've helped me out a lot while "sprucing up" my '75. I hope mine will look at least half as good as yours lol. Keep up the awesome work!

hey i think that little micro phone hooked to your stearo could be modded to fit in one of the old spiner steering knobs witch would look period correct and hiden

You could just adjust the parking cable

These speaker locations are off axis. No Bueno. Imagine having a set of home Hi-Fi floor speaker and you turn them 90deg. Away from you and expect them to sound good. Unfortunately custom made is the only option but the good news is Fiberglass and Bondo is cheap.

i took my vent windows out and sent them in to randy got them back and hits hard to get them back in but they are leaking.i went buy a hot rod shope and they do trucks he said it that the rubber flaps went laying down on body it could be the rubber that was used they made I know 2 types of rubbers in 86 and 87 one is a 2 piece and the other a one piece does anyone else ever had this problem?please get back to me if yo have.thanks plese get back to me milkcrate and tell me what you think
