Bro don’t build your stop on the floor. Build it on the hand truck. Also when separating stops organize them to the side leaving you a walk way. The quicker you learn the small details the better you’ll become.

What’s up bro, just finished an interview at Sysco & it went well but they told me straight up how it’ll be 14-16 hrs a day for the next 2 years. I don’t mind hard work I’m 26 how bad is it lol !

Good sh!t bro. With time, you’ll become more efficient.

Eventually if you have the same routes you’ll be able to recognize what boxes go where even without looking at the tags cuz they always order the same stuff. As you go organize other stops to the side and leave room to get by. The key is to touch the same box as few times as you can to save time and get paid more.
@M4_Trucking4 ай бұрын
Yeah I can see that. I’m hoping that I can bid for a route soon. If not I’ll go another 6 months with random routes

Whats the starting pay in Philadelphia? Debating between food service and ltl Also, are you guys unionized up there?
@M4_Trucking4 ай бұрын
We are union at $32
@enriquelafontaine61894 ай бұрын
Don’t do ltl. I did ltl for 4 years & recently switched over to foodservice. It’s extremely slow & does not pay at all. You have to go with a job that’s recession proof. Go to any food service companies. They always have work regardless of how bad the economy gets & you start off making 100k a year right off a bat at food service. ltl you’ll have to wait 15-20 years before you even touch 100k because you’ll have to work your way up.
@Spacecaptain104 ай бұрын
Do they let you work more than 4 days?
@M4_Trucking4 ай бұрын
You only get off a 4 day route if you bid for a route that is 5 days. But from what I’m hearing that’ll take over a year to be available.
