I've got some tanzanites. I've made a pendent. The contours are of the shape of Africa and where Tanzania is on the map, I put a tanzanite . It is one of a kind as it is my design and it is meaningful to me. The gem was discussed the year I was born, and the tanzanite is my birth stone . Love Tanzania.

I appreciate what you said about grinding. It saddens me to see these other people ( whites, Asians) living their countries with nothing and going to Africa and making a fortune there while Africans themselves and other blacks do not see the opportunities right there in their faces. I don't know if you can check this video here (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGi1h3SEnpalrJI) that I advise your audience to watch. This Vietnamese laborer who was lied to by some of his folks that they were taking him to do some labor job in Paris, France and he found himself in Ivory Coast West Africa where they took him to work for them. When was broke out in Ivory Coast, he made it to Dakar Senegal where he found himself on the street literally and find a Vietnamese restaurant that hire him. When the lady who owned the reataurants closed shop and move to Europe, he started selling vietnamese food on the street corner until his business grew and now he is doing good. He was offered to return to Viet Nam by the Vietnamese TV station who interviewed him. He went back but could not adjust back to living in Viet nam and return to Senegal because he realize that he had to much to lose staying in Vietnam. Very touching video. This is a part two when he goes back to Vietnam that he missed so much but after few weeks there decided to go back to Africa: kzbin.info/www/bejne/enauamN3rciJnck

It's really safe as you said but again if you were a white girl it would be a little bit different in my opinion. I had my friend from US, she is black like me so when she came she had no problem blending in because she looks just like the locals but the other girl who was white had to be a little bit more cautious because she could be easily be spotted in the public rather than a black one...and that was from my experience living in Dar.
