I have to go with Bill Russell as the goat. Its tough though being from Chicago. For a while I thought there's no way Russell is as talented as Jordan, Lebron, or Kareem but I thought about who was in that area and didn't win championships. You got Oscar and Jerry West to name a few. But the big one is Wilt Chamberlin. If Bill wasn't as talented as those guys in the top 5 Wilt should have been able to figure out how to beat him but he wasn't.
