@@AnneHunich I was the same untill I heard about Constantine and how he was working with the Roman catholics and they where the ones who got to choose what was in the Bible, also the creed of Constantine we have today only 66books they put together there's so much more out there i have read alot and it's made my belief so much more stronger and the books are accurate like Enoch, maccabees, jubilees ect there's lots more it's amazing I recommend you to look for yourself then decide what you think

I never heard of this book before, but it is a great treat with a great reading by Scourby. I'm looking forward to the other portions. This work seems to flesh out the Book of Genesis quite a bit and quite logically too. I half believe it in its details. The sons of Adam through Seth are the preachers of righteousness and the sons of Adam through Cain are the sons of men.

I would like to know when the Book of Jasher was found. The book of Phillip was found I believe in the 1940's sometime. Very interesting reading. Puts into perspective missing info .. eg: how Issac knew he was to be sacrificed and offered no resistance.. there is no mention of that in three Bibles my son and I have researched. Perhaps I am wrong.

The references in the Bible do not provide a clear date or location for the discovery of the Book of Jasher. The text that is commonly referred to as the Book of Jasher today is a compilation of several different works from various periods. The oldest known version, the "Jasher of the Italians," was found in the 16th century in the library of a synagogue in the Italian town of Reggio Emilia.
