Part #1: LHY Audio SW-6 SFP Audiophile Ethernet Switch Unboxing

I'm using sw6 In my system .and i want to use master clock Mutec ref10 Se120(have a both 50ohm, 75ohm output) as a external clock for sw6. Which output should better to connect to sw6 clock input. Mutec's 50ohm? Or 75ohm? If i mis connect any possibilities harm lhy sw6? And if I want to use external master clock how to turn on and turn off internal clock of lhy sw6? I am using Oyaide DB510 bnc cable . This is 75ohm pure silver cable. Is this cable ok to use on Mutec 50ohm output to sw6clock input? And Mutec 75ohm output to sw6 clock input?

Hi Alvin, sorry for my late reaction. For my setup, I would need only 1 high quality isolated ethernet port (to the streamer). Could you comment on the quality level of LHY FMC? Is that on par with SW-8, SW-6 or SW-10? Thanks and best regards, Arne

From a pure sound quality perspective, is the SW-10 still considered superior to the SW-6?

Yes. SW10 has two linear power supplies, an internal OCXO that has been stated to be superior to the SW-8 or even OCK-2 IIRC.

​​​​​@@Whararikiaccording to their website SW-10's clock is OCK-2 quality so those 2 have the best clocks and as you mentioned dual PSUs in the SW-10. SW-6 and SW-8 may have similar clocks (a bit inferior to the SW-10/OCK-2)
