You clearly have no idea how digital transmission works. Data in is data out, packets are just transferred from source to destination. The switch does not know or care what data it is passing and thus has no influence at all. Even if the network cable is bad, build in techniques will take care of checksums, retransmission etc. Sound is never changed by the digital transmission or components in the chain. If you think it does, it is in your head. If the sound would change at all, that would mean the digital data would have changed, which is not the function of a network switch.

Why would you pay for a clock generator in a switch? All a switch does is copy data from one point to a ram buffer and the packets don’t even arrive in order. It has zero to do with sound. I don’t mean the difference is imperceptible I literally mean the device has zero to do with the creation of any sound beyond copying the data to the playback device.I looked it up and the lhy is a rebadged Logitech lgs108 which is not a bad 30 dollar router on Amazon but if you wanted to spend a premium why not spend the money on a more modern and faster multi gig switch.

I live in the US and do not have a computer that I can use for this update. Is there a place I can send the Enyo to? Or, can I purchase a usb stick with the update on it from Vinshine to install directly to the Enyo? Thank you

As a customer that has spent a lot on this expensive hobby over the years I can state that I vet the personality of the support over the price of the product (of course the quality has to be there). This translates to the integrity of the distributor and I can honestly say that while I have not bought Denafrips products, the only reason I investigated the possibility of buying the brand was because of Vinshine Audio. This is because the competition for most audio products is fierce and the most traditional brands are never far behind if something new enters the market - I can guarantee you that I can drive 10kms and find an audio store with an equivalent product - and Denafrips will not be sold in that store because the traditional heavyweight brand's price structures would be compromised. No chance I will be dealing with China directly so the importance of Vinshine Audio was critical to my purchase decision. As audio enthusiasts, you guys are an obvious proxy to me hearing it myself. It is Denafrip's loss and I am sure you guys will find the next big thing to share with us soon. Thanks and take care.

Although I have not bought Denafrips, I have come to hear many good things about you. Will keep the other brands you represent in mind and be sure to be YOUR customer, not the brands.

Don't ever get too attached to a Chinese audio company, there is no loyalty there in none of them, it's just the wild west and they''ll sell to whoever no matter what you do for them.

How does this streamer compare to the Holo Audio Red?

Never purchased from Vinshine but knew Denafrips name was built by you guys. Unfortunately, this exit is not uncommon. A no name brand does a marketing distribution deal- after success the brand wonders why they don’t do their own marketing and takes back control. I wish Vinshine all the best and next time do a 10 year deal

There is a dealer in Hawaii who did a great deal to promote Denafrip only to discover the same thing; I believe they cut their ties with Denafrips too

It is wired when I know a singapore company became the distributor of a chinese brand several years ago. Quite a lot chinese business person have big ambitions while small distributor cannot fulfill it.

Great review and very impressed with the build quality of the Terminator II. I have an Ayon CD5S with inbuilt DAC ( a few years old and no doubt showing its age) and plan to upgrade with the Terminator II.!

Does this modification make any difference when using external DAC? I only use my N130 as a transport, can you please advise if this modification improves the sound quality when using external DAC

Wasn't expecting this, but certainly not the end of the world 🙂. While I have purchased some Denefrips devices from Vinshine, I've been thinking of completely replacing my Denafrips set up with newer gear. DAC, DDC, PreAMP. Curious as to whether Vinshine will take Denafrips trade ins on which ever major line of audio gear they wind up carrying.

The problem is I don't want to buy it directly from China, I would rather buy from Vinshine. Looks like I need to buy LAIV instead of Denafrips now. =/

Easy install. I appreciate the tips in the video. I placed some heavy books behind the top cover after removing the top to keep it steady. The LPS is working well. It smoothed out the treble on my Eversolo standard.

Interesting. Looks like Denafrips was going through backdoor channels with multiple listings on AliExpress. If this is the case, I can understand ending this relationship. With Vinshine doing the marketing to get brand recognition, it seems unfair to allow others to reap the benefits of this work without their compensation. And without a distributor, servicing would undoubtedly fall to them. As their distribution cut of the profits is likely instrumental in funding upfront and overhead costs of servicing these items. They would likely get the blame for potential problems from mishandling issues from other vendors outside their distribution chain. I can't imagine telling customers of a product they distribute to be told that warranty claims are invalid because they bought it from the grey market. As someone who's bought from the grey market, I've understood these risks. But I've only gone that route because distribution for the products I wanted were no longer accessible in my country. In these cases, a local warranty isn't of benefit, simply because it doesn't exist. But the better pricing from grey market offset a lot of the risks. I basically paid 1/2 price for a product that I was willing to take a risk a warranty claim wouldn't be needed. But notifying customers of invalid warranties for a product they are marketing is only going to undercut any work they invest in raising brand awareness. This is downward spiral waiting to happen. Best of luck to Vinshine Audio and I think you've done the right thing. Nip this relationship in the bud and cut your losses while you can.
