After all these years I just realised that P3 soundtrack made to be sound like it's coming through some old headphones, which is what protagonist always wears. That's why it sounds so bassless and high pitched most of the time, I thought it was some kind of limitation of PS2. Truly mindblowing stuff, honestly.

I don't know those audio Technicas have some decent bass to them and Ironically enough doesn't have that much high pitched sounds do it. I mean it's there but it has more mins and ok bass. the highs are there but nothing special. I know because I have a set of the renewal shells of them. witch has the same internals but sightly diffent aluminum shell.

Aw man, I've been waiting for this game's time in the spotlight from you! I can't wait until you hear the song Kimi no Kioku - Memories of You, in English. I've never played the game and don't know the ending for sure, but the tone and lyrics of that song conveys two emotions so well I'm almost positive what happens. The bittersweet mix of devastating grief and peace make it a true experience to behold. If you can, try looking up the lyrics for it or also listen to a cover of it by Sapphire. Makes me tear up everytime.

34:00 I would call it trip hop personally. With the kind of hip hop groove and the female vocals that sound like that specific style. If you want a specific example, there’s Etro Anime - Danger (another smt song) which has that exact same double time drum groove over the vocals, with similar vibes and feeling.

Personally I feel like the reincarnation soundtrack ruined the initial theme of the ost. The only reincarnation track I actually enjoy just as much as the original is changing seasons, but that track was a banger to begin with. Reincarnated soundtrack ends up ruining a lot of tracks for me like “deep breath deep breath” and overall is a weaker ost.

Sorry man, but the files of F.E.S were super corrupted or something like that and basically it can't be used again unless atlus redone the game again which.....is not happening unless they wanna to make a remake.

@@omegaaklx303 No. Some other channel did a rundown on why they picked portable over FES. So firstly P3P is a technical marvel they got that running kn a UMD, even with a lot of stripped out content such as cutscenes. Every model had to be remade skinwise as a lower polycount model didn't look right. But I digress. So the major factors Atlus chose P3P over FES was: 1. Sales. FES only sold a margin more than the original. However P3P sold double what Vanilla P3 sold. 2. Gameplay. Vanilla P3 and FES suffered from having A.I. controlled squadmates that left a lot of players unsatisfied. P3P took a lot of the improvements P4 made and implemented then into the P3 framework. 3. FAMILIARITY. Due to the combat enhancements that P3P had over Vanilla and FES; Atlus felt more P5/P4 players would feel more comfortable with P3P combat than the previous games. 4. POTENTIAL FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENTS. Long has it been rumoured that P3 is getting a complete remake using the P5 engine and having the game expanded upon using the original games plot as a guideline to be expanded upon. Atlus has 2 Persona announcements coming later this year at an undisclosed time that they wanted to show off at the 25th Anniversary Event last year...however these projects weren't at a place where Atlus felt comfortable showing them off as representative products. So P3P's more "visual novel" feel maybe a palette cleanser for that potential future announcement.

Damn, I missed the livestream again. Love seeing your reactions either way though. Also, just in case you ever react to the P1 and 2 soundtracks it could be a bit confusing. P2 is split into 2 games, Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, which have completely separate soundtracks. Also, all 3 games have 2 soundtracks - PSX and PSP. For P1, they are completely separate soundtracks, but for 2 the PSP versions are mostly remixes of the originals. I'd personally love it if you reacted to them all, but that would be pretty time consuming, so it's worth mentioning that the PSX soundtracks are far more unique, and from what I've seen are more popular. At least for 1 and 2 Eternal Punishment, Innocent Sin's remixes are actually pretty good.

I know that this may not be the best place to make a request, but I think it'd be great for the OST for both Warhammer 40k: Mechanicus and Vermintide 2 to get looked into. Both of them have some tracks so unique that I haven't heard anything that sound anything like them, especially in Vermintide 2's case. There would be a lot to chew into, as well as due to how well they represent each game in every sense (gameplay, narrative, setting)
