Im making this comment before I watch your entire video so apologies if some of these questions are covered. I am 2 years off of benzos (klonopin...I took it for several years beginning in high school, right after I had brain surgery actually. The klonopin DESTROYED my life) w/ severe, severe insomnia to this very day. Nothing seems to help me. I get very little sunlight as is because I am so tired all of the time and don't have the energy to go out (I don't sleep for days at a time and when I do sleep it is, at most, for an hour or two.). I recently watched doctor mercola's interviews w/ several of the worlds leading experts of photo biology and the effects of infrared on overall health (effect on mitochondria, especially those in your brain). It appears the near infra-red penetrates the scalp and has a direct effect on your brain. Though it isn't specifically addressed, I feel this could be an effective way to expedite the recovery of my brain/ nervous system. What are your thoughts? Are you knowledgeable in this area?

www.research.va.gov/currents/spring2015/spring2015-7.cfm As myself being a person that suffered a long term solvent brain injury from work. I see a lot of promise in this therapy. If I was clear back at the time my brain was injured in 1998, I surely would have tried it. That being said, sauna in general be it FIR or NIR has personally benefited me greatly. It makes my mind clearer and body overall feel better. Thus, water fasting and sauna will be a huge part of the remainder of my life.

3 weeks aftee I jumped I began tanning in a sunbed 3 times a week. I still go 2 times a week. I am close to 7 months off klonopin. I am almost healed. I don't know if the tanning bed did this? I know I feel a hell of a lot better after a session.

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20358337 I do not know if tanning lights help regenerate nerves, but I know that infrared ones do. But a tanning bed can't hurt! : )

So would you advise in case of a person who has serious weight loss during benzo withdrawal?

I have an infrared sauna, Ive been afraid to go into it, I'm afraid I will detox the benxo's too fast, and withdrawal will get worse. My dentist recommended infrared sauna for detoxing the mercury amalgam fillings removed. But afraid while on Benzodiazepine withdrawal. What do you think? I dont trust my psych Doc's opinion. So did you do sauna while in the process of tapering your Benzo's, or not till off?

No, you would not want to sauna until you are done with the Benzo's. But, I think even people that jump off the Benzo's too fast or even cold turkey. Could benefit greatly with a sauna detox program. Including bowel tolerant doses if ascorbic acid, slowly working up to 6,000 to 12,000 mg's of Niacin. And some charcoal to absorb stomach toxins. Infrared sauna literally saved my life after my solvent exposure. When I had my amalgams out in 2001. I was taking bowel tolerant doses of ascorbic acid, Chlorella, and cilantro tincture for the main players anyway.
