Hubby and I will be celebrating our 35th wedding anni. this coming April. I am disabled and in poor health and hubby has been a God send being the only one working now and helping take care of me. I have some donated yarn (hoping it will be enough) and decided to make something for hubby that is truly from my heart. Thank you so much for sharing this! God Bless!

Fiber Spider, I am inspired by your calm and kind voice on your videos. I would love to have a friend like you in my youth (even now). I enjoy and agreed with your bulling video. I had a horrendous childhood. I was picked on continually from schoolmates without any help from teachers, school authorities etc. If they ever tried to rectify a situation...I would get hurt doubly from the bullies. Even my own father told me that's life, to accept it and just live with it. My poor mother rescued me at twelve from my first suicide attempt. Even now at 72, I will step in if I see a bully in action. I have gotten hurt a few times and have been told numerous of times to mind my own business, but my conscience doesn't allow it. Anybody that is deem an outsider will find a friend in me.

I'm so touched by your words! I too was bullied & I'm so very sorry that you went through it too. BUT, look at you! You're not only a survivor, you're a Warrior! The world would be a better place with more like you!❤

For the last couple of years I've been watching you, and telling anyone that asks me to teach them how to crochet to come watch your tutorials, because I know I'm not a good teacher, and you are. I have no patience for it. Well, I got invited to a crochet/knitting Facebook group recently, and one of the first things that I saw was someone pointing a new "hooker" to your tutorials. I was so thrilled to see that! As for this pattern, I had been searching and searching for a pattern for a blanket for the Grand-Runt, and decided this will be it. I love it. I made the elf hat for her for Christmas a couple of years ago, and she's still always begging to wear it. :)

I just really love the way you describe how easy it is to crochet any design once you get the hang of it😁😁 I'm beginning to think I'm not that good of fallowing any crochet instructions lol!! Because there is two of you're works that really !really ! Love omg! & you are an excellent teacher! did everything possible to make it easy to watched & crochet along with you I'm so grateful definitely appreciated your sharing your talent & i do meant everything i say .anyway i finally got the point what you been saying alonng as you teaching ur taking ur time not rude or annoying . It might off taking me longer than i wanted too! I just want to say thank you so much ! Because of the way u expalining everything with ur sweet voice & nice very encouraging my project turned out nice ! Probably better than yours lol! Just kidding muah ty! i did run in to few of them on KZbin i kid u not we at casino & our topic is those two ! Lol! they do a wonderful project one said u have to have patient to crochet along with her ! U gotta be so desperate & wanting to learned the designed lol!! One said omg! My head about to explode every time she's describing over & over what she just did in a different way I'm beginning to feel insulted or if shes trying to explained things to kindergarden .so when i get distracted by my kid or dog i can easily loses my religion because i thought I'm missing what she was saying lol!! We just decided to just stay away even if its something easy & good project we will try to find something closest rather than having to listened to her ex this one has to go infront leave it down then picked up the next do u see since u dropped it in between its got her sandwich now do u see ? Omg! Shell say it over & over evry row & gives any reason why she weng that route bcos it's neater dont you all think ? Ok ni now this one its going to be a different color omg! But still the project! She will try to do & show what will happen & dos & dont just here mouth never rest how can u memorize & go along when she's throwing thing's in there that's not even relevant I would hate to see her reading intructions .watching her doing tutorial? My friends said the next day they have to watched her tutorial quick as they can lol!! After work & cook its her relaxing I've been doing crochet since 32 im 54 anyway thank you again for sharing & keep up the good job we love to hear your soft angel Voice' 😘😘

I use a stacked single crochet as the turn rather than chain 3. It gives a nice tight, straight edge.
@estefanyluna51292 жыл бұрын
I also have always had issues with my base chain tension, and have opted to use the chainless foundation, which eliminates those “plus 3” for that first stitch. So at the 9:31 mark, with the final count of 2 sets of 15, 2 sets of 9 and the gaps all add up to 51. It feels like it doesn’t add up with her base chain of 53, but then the first stitch is in the 4th chain. Wouldn’t that total 49 stitches in the end?
