Wonderful event, thank you so much for making it happen. May God bless and protect our motor officers. This was my first event like this I attended. I was amazed by the incredible talent, discipline and professionalism displayed by the motor officers and civilians. It has further motivated me to continue to learn how to become a better slow speed operator. Beyond the fantastic event, I met some good people and corporate sponsors (HD corporate Rob and Jay from Drop Guards). Can’t wait for next year. Lastly, the memorabilia, especially those fantastic coins are a keepsake. Be safe and well.

Awesome I'm glad to hear that you had a good time and that it motivated you to continue to work on your skills this is also what motivates me in my on journey on two wheels. One question through I am curious if you are talking about the Mid-Atlantic rodeo or the Nova Rodeo because to my knowledge Jay from motorcycle drop gaurds was only at the NoVA rodeo where he had a tent set up. So if you are talking about 5he Nova rodeo keep an eye out I already posted the novice video and some of the motor officers in the Challenge event as well as the Processional ride with a lot more videos to come. @@NoVaSlowSpeed Thank you for the response. My apologies, I thought this was the rodeo at Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria. That’s where I met Jay. Also, thank you for the invite to the cone camp. I neglected to put that in my first message but that was another benefit of attending the rodeo in Alexandria. I met a gentleman from the camp who invited me out. Both my son and I will attend hopefully this coming Sunday (last Sunday we were told it would be a ghost town because it was memorial day weekend). Thank you again for all you do, be safe and well.

Great video thanks for creating and posting it ! In your honest opinion out of all the bikes used in these type events which would you consider the best maneuvering motorcycle assuming you had the most skilled rider on board ?

Thanks for the compliment.There's no 100% right answer to that question but road king and Electra glide are pretty much the standard for Harleys road king is slightly lighter because of the smaller windshield with greater visibility of the front tire for proper tire placement. So it really comes down to the rider and thier preferences but in a completely different competitive category you have the bmws which I really know nothing about. Me I have my heart set on a road king someday.

@@NoVaSlowSpeed Thanks for reply. I'm considering a road king myself in the hopefully not too distant future.. I used to own an Indian Springfield until like yourself had a bad accident in 2019 . Springfield had a windshield and is considered looks wise Indians version of a road king but I believe the RK has more of a lean angle and better overall geometry for those type maneuvers plus i always liked the old school look of the RK . I'm currently riding a softail standard which is a nice little bop around towner but I wouldn't want to do an iron butt challenge on it lol .. What motorcycle are you currently riding ? Lastly I find your story of the accident and how you've decided to come back dedicated to being a much better rider very inspirational and very similar to my own experience . @@Chopbreaka the Springfield is an awesome motor but yes the road king is much better in the cones and designed for slow speed. I am currently still on my first bike a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard M50 it's a good bike but I've been ready for more power for quite awhile now. But I will be on a road king within the next year or two. Anyways I'm glad to hear that you found value in my story good luck on your journey in two wheels and if you are ever going to be in Virginia you're welcome to join us at cone camp. @@NoVaSlowSpeed Tactfully put. How come I saw less than a handful of BMW? They run circles around HD literally and in sales. I do commend the skill of the riders that can wrestle those hogs around.

I'm not sure why their are less bmws, perhaps because Harley-Davidson is the traditional police bike but more and more departments are starting to make the switch to the metric bikes. And you are right they are very maneuverable but they are in thier own category separate from the cruisers so they are not competing against unsimular bikes but thanks for watching and commenting I hope you will subscribe I will continue to shoot footage of every rodeo that I can and ride safe out there sir!
