Me too! I need to make a note that I am experimenting with this stitch; double stranded 4 weight with a k10.5 hook, it came out out of line so far. I may have to really pay attention a time or two (maybe 3) to get this done right.

You were discussing yarns and I remembered seeing a regular Kaleidescope Granny afghan with small amounts of variegated yarn incorporated into it and it was absolutely gorgeous! One of the very few projects I've liked variegated worked into as it's not my favorite type of yarn. Maybe I'll get lucky and get the yarns* this year and be able to use this tutorial to make it. *Yarns- every time I get a new phone I search for the afghan I'm talking about and save the picture to my phone in hopes I'll be able to find and afford simultaneously the colors needed. White, lavender, green, variegated of the same-variegated looks like flowers & green like leaves & look like they're on the backdrop of a white lattice yarn fence.

Love the out come At first when you said you weren’t doing all four sides, I thought there it goes not going to do well. Well surprise surprise I wish I could send you a picture of the project so far. I’m using Mary Maxim Maximum Value in these color ways Center - Dark Rose Second Tier - Rose Variegated Next Tier - Medium Rose Next Tier - Rose Variegated Next Tier - Light Rose I can’t wait for the next tutorial. I recently had done a C2C from the center for the very first time. The problem with this pattern is it is difficult for me to figure out/see where the beginning and the end of a round is. When you're going along, it is just hard for me to actually see or understand exactly where we are in the process. And if you set it down for a second, and pick it up again it's like oh my gosh where am I? I do love the look of this finished project though! It is on my to-do list for the future.

Oh wow! Another gorgeous blanket!!!! I can't make any promises, but I'm gonna try to do this. (I've seen other c2c blanket vids and ended up rage quitting. I'm a granny ripple/stitch fan, but for some reason, I can't wrap my head around this technique. For instance, you laid the project down and said this was going to be your center part. And you had two longer squares on two opposite sides that were kind of curling up, and on the other sides were too wider squares. So to me, visually it is confusing to see that that was actually a finished portion
