@empireofitalypsstimfromano50253 жыл бұрын
Also Poland While PLC Was A Thing: Are You Sure About That? *Dominates Russia And Has Prussia As A Puppet*
@@dwarow2508 Polish was the administrative language of the Kremlin during Queen Sophia's time on the Russian throne. Moreover, before the reforms of Peter the Great the culture of Russian nobility was directly based on and inspired by the culture of the Polish-Lithuanian nobility, one of ideological aims of Peter's reforms was abandoning previous Polish models in favour of Western European ones. So yes, Poland-Lithuania definitely dominated Eastern Europe, including Russia, both economically and culturaly until 18th century. Militarly it was more of an even fight, with both sides often winning, once again until the 18th century, when the Russians turned the tide and became the dominant side.
@dwarow25083 жыл бұрын
@@Radonatorr Wrong. At no point was Polish the administrative language in Russia except for 2 years when the Polish monarch Władysław IV was invited to Moscow. The reforms of Peter the Great had absolutely nothing to do with the PLC at all, not even in the slightest. They were all directly based on Dutch and German norms. The Polish nobilty was inherently different from the Russian one. So yes, Russia definetly dominated eastern Europe, including Poland-Lithuania, both economically and culturally from the 15th century and all the way until 1991.

When you’ve been kicked out of your host European countries as often and as widespread as your subversive ethnicity has been, then it’s time you stopped lying about where you’re from. USSR gave up on Belarus? What kind of Nazist propaganda is that? All of the USSR was suffering, Belarus wasn’t “given up” it was conquered and it’s populace like every where else in the USSR, enslaved and massacred. Still good content, stuff like this is rarely covered.
@commisaryarreck39743 жыл бұрын
Indeed nazi propaganda Unlike Communist propaganda, that tries to ignore the ethnic cleansings, "relocations" and general genocide committed by the USSR. Willing to slaughter thousands of civilians only to protect themselves
@sarven59743 жыл бұрын
@@commisaryarreck3974 unlike American propaganda, that paints all of its foreign interventions as 'liberations' and casually washes away all the civilian casualties and war crimes they perpetrated, even trying to justify them. I never said the USSR was some sort of bastion of greatness, just like America isn't even close either. But the extent of 'crimes' when in comparison to the Nazis is far less. Information in regards with that are very often muddied especially due to the Cold War and the USSR is very often demonized
@matthewkottler55533 жыл бұрын
@@sarven5974 That's factually untrue. The crimes of communism dwarf the crimes of all other ideologies. By a massive amount. The crimes of the Axis powers were extreme as well but let's not whitewash any genocide. Google "Stalin's Purges" to educate yourself. No reason to defend that.
@sarven59743 жыл бұрын
@@matthewkottler5553 that maybe true to an extent, but we're discussing the USSR, statistics of communist crimes are largely overblown, very often due to the cold war, the 'Black book of Communism' especially, as the writer himself admitted to making up the numbers. (The Black Book of Communism is where most get their statistics for communist crimes)
@Maxz853 жыл бұрын
Read up more on Belarus during the Nazi occupation, it had some positives for Belarusian people too, many more people collaborated with nazis because they hated bolsheviks who took their land, and russification of Belarus was stopped because of local collaborationists when nazis came, it's not all black and white in history. Both USSR and Nazi Germany were a horrible regimes, but in my opinion germans treated the belarusians better. There was even a belarusian unit trained by Abwehr towards the end of the war. Communists did much more bad things to Belarusians than Nazis ever did, because of communists we speak Russian and a dictatorship now, they murdered all of our nationalist intellectuals. 1930s was way more bloody for Belarusian people because of all the killings of "rich" and "undesirable elements", but "victor writes the history".
