I am so glad that there are great thinkers like David and Ty that make the BIG theological topics swallowable. It is deep yet understadable. It is broad yet lands in the living room. :D

I resonate with this so much, because I first came to faith in Jesus while deployed to Iraq. Feeling betrayed by leadership/kings in having to fight an unjust war, Jesus first became most attractive to me as a political revolutionary/king like no earthly one.

What breath of unfouled air. I came to your conclusion about how unpolitical Jesus's kingdom is. That was so freeing to me. I am not tied to a party but Christ. You explained it so clearly. This is where we all have to be or come to understand. I want to live in His kingdom. Won't it be wondetful! This world is what satins world is not what Christ intended it to be.. WHAT a contrast you just painted. Thankyou. Yes even our religious chucters. Amen! 👍👍👍👍 you nailed it.

Wow! That’s a good thing to tell the Sunday keeping Christians. Jesus came to show us how to fulfill the old testament covenant, through Himself, not to do away with it❣️. Sweet❣️😇 Jeremiah 31:31-33; Hebrews 8:10; Hebrews 10:16.

I wholeheartedly agree, Omari! Love your very appropriate words, ‘Two Theological Titans’! David, if you are considering pastoring a church again, (missing your Kingscliff sermons very much), our church, ‘Church in the Valley, Langley, BC, is in desperate need of a Lead Pastor. I personally think you’d be a great fit! Just putting it out there. 😊

It's funny: there are so many elements brought out that come from the ARISE curriculum. The repetition is solidifying these concepts into the way I see reality.

Would be beneficial to me if there is a downloadable outline I can follow. And such excellent dialogic teaching can facilitate longer retention among listeners. Superb.

David announced on OT with DA that he and ty gibson was going to be doing a talk about hell. David must of announced it about a month or two ago. How do I find it? Or when/where is it available. Thanks

Is the tree cut down also symbolic of the Tree of knowledge and evil in the garden of Eden?
@andresomerville48962 жыл бұрын
neither of those trees were cut down. Daniel 4:15 is a better analogy. Nebuchadnezzar was symbolized as a tree that was cut down. When he was restored he acknowledged the rulership of the heavenly kingdom. Similarly Jesus restored the church to an understanding of God's kingdom.
