I’m 29 and have never been married. I am not insecure that a man doesn’t want me. I’ve chose to wait until I was healed from my childhood and had a solid foundation of a relationship with Jesus. With that being said, the next Christian man I get involved with, now that I’m ready to be a wife, I will marry out of practical reasons of wanting to have a marriage and children. I don’t find that sad or settling. I am ready now and will do it now when the opportunity arises again. I was not ready before.

I'm also 29 and have tje exact same thought pattern. I'm just now healing and getting ready, and the next Christian man that's compatible I will marry (if God agree)

They had no privacy. Her mother living with her did not help the marriage.

The biggest motive for men today is a career. There are doors that only a wife by your side will open. You can ask the most powerful CEOs and politicians. Highly successful single men career wise are the exception not the rule. I'm not talking 4 years of success only to disappear a few years later. I'm talking a 15-20 year career minimum. There's a reason Jay-Z has entered circles 90% of rappers never will, and I don’t even like hiphop. But he's cold blooded and practical. I don't think he loves his wife, action speak louder than words. He still targeted her, and married her.

JAY Z is not the Marrying type either. But in one of his songs, he said "I don't Wife'em". But like he said he's practical. He's smart and he knows married man. If their head is on the swivel, they rise to the top.

I always love your content and your opinions. What you call practical, i call convenience. A lot of people marry out of convenience. I need a place to stay or i need companionship or someone to help with their kids. A family member of mine marries out of convenience and not love. He needed a place to stay and his ex needed companionship, so they got married. She didn't treat him like a wife should so when he left her, she sent the other woman a note saying that, she took her "MEAL TICKET!!" And that is all he was to her. Thank you for your inspirational insight on the topics that we all need to know about. May God bless you and your family.

Following your line of reasoning, seems like he succumbed to a time of vulnerability rather than practicality.

I really enjoy your channel even when I don’t agree. I too didn’t miss that detail about his mom recently dying before he married. I’ve known a few couples who married after the death of a parent . Men and women. It’s a very common life event that pushes people to marriage and it doesn’t get discussed much . And yes I agree there is no muting wrong for marrying for practical reasons as long as both people are aware and honest about their motives

I think another word for “marrying for practical reasons” is transactional... It is sad to define it as that, but that’s what our society has come to. Nowdays someone will marry another person who might be successful, they bring a baby into the equation, and people applaud because the “bag is secured.” You probably dont lnow a lot about jeanie because As you stated you didnt follow her steps a lot. With that being said, A LOT of jeanies “standards” were dropped the moment the man took an interest in her.. Many people were even surprised, because jeanie even stated she viewed black men as an appetizer, not the real thing. Even worst, she divorced her ex husband because he had a family in mind. And jeannie even cried live on tv staring how she rotundly opposed to bringing life into this earth. It is my belief this was a transaction for both, he needed a shoulder to cry on, support, a friend, a lover. And she wanted security, that being status, fame and most importantly: Money. I did stop following jeanie a while ago too.. Her intentions were clear after some moves she was making, I know people are free to change their mind and grow as people, but I do believe she contradicts herself a lot. She speaks her mind on lots of topics and then does the contrary. It is very strange. The other girls from the real I do believe were looking for real love, and some of them did find it. Love your vids .
