Love my prepper kit I bought from you guys. Can you program other receive frequencies into the HT or is it only GMRS frequencies only?

I love my KG-935G+ but it has some quirks. I want to be able to turn the channel knob faster. As it is, I have to wait for the radio to catch up if I want to change channels quickly. I like my Yaesu FT1 I can spin its channel knob as fast as I can and the channels on the screen keep up. I also wish I could go into the menu and "disable radio body PTT" for when I am using a hand mic. Awesome radio though thanks

I realize having Duelband FRS / GMRS and MURS will not likely be available. However, it would give consumers options for voice communications. Of course a GMRS license would still be needed, but the ability to to switch from UHF to VHF would be an option.

Ok, so where is the software update that I can apply to my KG-935G to add the extra features? I don't really care to have USB C charging capability and prefer the larger capacity 😀

Thanks for your question! All of the upgrades that the KG-935G Plus introduces are exclusive to the Plus only. While there is no software update available for the original 935G, new accessories such as the 2600mAh battery pack are still compatible with it: www.buytwowayradios.com/wouxun-blo-016-usb-c.html

I agree there should be a firmware update for the KG-935G, we need more users asking for it!

Now if they can only add NOAA receive capability to the KG-S88G and make it possible to dim the display brightness. 🤔 🤷

You guys didn't mention how much more natural and clearer the voice prompts are (menu 29). Maybe that will be in the next part. 🤔 ❓️
