Part 11: Our little early a-body 2 door hardtop junkyard Mopar Signet 200 is finally back on the road after 20 plus years, and it is a pleasure to drive.

Thank you. I used to think people who love them were a rare breed, now I'm not so sure, they do have a following. We get a lot of folks telling us their parents/uncles/aunts used to own one and they loved it. You Tube time, HA!

I like your vidio's. I remember when the car was in the barn. Amazing how great it came out. The in side is spotlessly clean like new. Out side look's fantastic. I like the tires on the car rim's make's stand out. Slant 6 I had 3 of them... Best motor you could buy. The best of luck to you. Enjoy your new car. I love to see the older car's coming back. I wish I still had my 1964 Dodge Dart 3 on the tree. Happy New Year🎉

You did a great job! The interior looks outstanding and obviously you spent a bunch of money on all the parts, lights and tires. Although your daughter will be driving it, I would keep up the great work. Paint the trunk lid and fix a few other things. You can fix the bottom of the fenders with fiberglass and bondo -- ditto around the wheel openings. I have always liked these cars since my dad had a red 1960 when I was young and later, I built a model of a 1962 molded in light green plastic. Unfortunately, it got destroyed with many of my other model cars when we moved to a new house. The brakes should be serviceable for years. There are not many videos about guys rebuilding these engines stock but I would like to see that too. I still have a plastic model of the Slant Six in a box down in the basement. It never had an assembly instruction book so I never got it completely together. Rebuilding the engine should be pretty straightforward. They are bullet proof and will last forever.

Thank you! We will be addressing the body/pant, and we were thinking of an engine rebuild in the future. For now, going to put as many miles on it as possible.

@@cudafry1967 I have not seen a rebuild of a Slant Six but would love to see it. Could not be much different of other engines, my '55 Chevy has a "Stovebolt Six" and not long ago, I broke a fiber timing gear. I did not pull the engine but replaced it myself. That was a big job. I like the old stuff with breaker points, vacuum advance, carburetors and oil-bath air cleaners.

Dude you and me know these cars were made for 45mph roads and 55mph hwys..that being said you can tell by their style they thought jet age styling might make these more modern and say somthing about you the smart buyer.

Definitely not made for speed, but look the part. The more I see it out in the wild, the more the top of the front fenders look like wings.

My aunt had an old Valiant in beautiful condition. She trade it in on a new K Car Reliant which was pitiful. It caught on fire..what a POS!

Wow, she must have had it a long time, I think K cars came around in the '80s. It seems many people had a Valiant, or one was in the family, always good memories.
