Good job! I used shielded cables from my VFD to the spindle, this was one of the biggest contributor of EMI in my system and almost totally gone since the upgraded cable was installed. Don't forget to ground the shield to the ground in the VFD controller as well as the spindle body where the connection is made.

Nice video, which windows version are you controlling it with ? it is possible to use windows 10 ?

I use an old lap top with windows 7. Works better than expected, it can run for hours and hours. Only problem I had so far is when I forgot to put the charger in and it went into power saving mode, it caused a crash. My fault though... :)
