50s I think, Not long after the war and it shows with how they skimped on materials.

Won't it be cheaper to just buy a new house? I do the kind of stuff you are doing, holy crap that is a lot of work!!! I am in the U S, different there????

I've spent about 20k so far, I would have to find an extra 80k to move. Not financially viable with house prices as they are.

Extension is coming along well, Don't know how you have time to do all the stuff you do. Do you just have the one dog now?

You're going to need extra hot water for the extra bathroom. You upgrading the boiler or installing an Unvented Cylinder?

Not sure yet, Existing combi is 28KW and not really worked hard. I'm only adding 1 extra rad so it should cope. The new bathroom is having an electric shower so no extra demand there.

@@harrybrew69 Electric showers cost a fortune to run, but are handy when the boiler breaks. (I'm sure you've seen error 'E119' on that boiler) The 28kw refers to the hot water demand.The heating kw is less but I'm sure one more radiator will be fine. 👍
