This is incredibly helpful. I got an old beer engine from a Patron on my channel and have been hesitant to use it since I've never set one up. This is just the motivation I need. Cheers, brother:-)

Iv'e heard a few people mention the 5 pints bitter now. I've got most of the ingredients so feel I need to give it a go pretty soon.

Great video, thanks for the insights! I am in Maine USA and can obtain a 60pint casks for connecting to my hand pull! It’s located in my basement so around 56F except during a hot summer! I am interested in 1 the beer line cleaner used 2 how to drill the fridge to pass the pipes through! I say pipes because I have a rather larger external CO2 canister

Score you always amaze me, I would of just put the corny in with a cobra tap. Have used them for thirty years. Cause I just can not bring myself to putting holes in my ss fridges. Love to you from the PNW. Keep on keeping on.

NOW'T to do wiv me as I am dyslexic, but first off all thank you for going to the trouble of videoing, editing and publishing this, it is really appreciative. But being dyslexic I always remember PriVreT, or in layman terms Pressure, Volume and Temperature. The greater the temperature the greater the pressure, so by keeping the gas inside a cold environment lowers the temperature hence lowers the pressure, I know because I do a lot of winter camping and have to change my gas to suit the cold weather to a gas that boils at a lower temperature. So your gas will work but probably 50% efficiency.

Hi great video I’m new to this I have a hand pull but I have noticed on other peoples videos they say to use a demand valve I between the keg and tap so not sure if I need one and struggled a little to find the right diameter beer line to attach as well

I thought you needed to leak some ambient air in to simulate the spile? I wondered if you could do that with a spunding or a one way valve? Or, it just isn't necessary? I would love to give this a go, but the beer engine is hard to get in the states. Looks like a lovely drop though and no one deserves it more - Cheers!

No, if at all possible just replacing the head space with co2 is fine, no pressure though.

I couldn't get my hand pull to deliver from a corni keg without fobbing uncontrollably, wonder if it was the pipe diameter causing the issue???
@Brendengs84
@Brendengs84 2 жыл бұрын
Temperature, inside diameter and length of beer line all are factors in having headdy beer. Try lengthen your lines and that should fix the issue.
