@premvatsvlogs2 күн бұрын
Achara is correct according to me!! Asif Ali literally closed the door before leaving so that he can first handle the situation with his wife and thn will see what he can do with the son. But without even asking for help, His father did the necessary thing which needed.
@vishnunair76232 күн бұрын
Everyone seems to have missed the point. When the grandfather must have found Chachu's body, the first thing that must have ran through his mind is that, Chachu found his service gun again and this time shot himself accidentally, similar to how he shot the Monkey earlier. He probably considered himself as the culprit, for not safeguarding his weapon, which is what also cost him his Army job. So, the first time when the grandfather found the body he covered it up thinking he is the culprit. Later, due to dementia he forgot about the incident. It is only when he started from point zero, putting clues together for finding Chachu he realized that the bullet was missing and that it had to be his son or daughter-in-law. But, he keeps going through the entire cycle because of the first time, when he thought he was the reason Chachu offed himself. He finds the answer and chooses to bury it. Dementia is a curse and boon.

The reason why it is called Kishkindha Kandam is because of the way how Hanuman protects the other Monkey “Vanar” tribes. Dad’s character is doing the same. This would be one of the best performances of Asif Ali especially in the last 20 minutes depicting a range of emotions.

32:44 The thing is you've been given clues from the initial part of the movie if you watch again. All you can see is guilty in Ajayan's character. He's trying to block his wife's doubts from the start and he only gives up a bit of information everytime he feels their act of not knowing anything is getting reinvestigated. Every time he talks about chachu or the video call with the niece shows a sense of sadness in him about his kid. The director and writer (who is also the DOP of the movie) had told this in an interview with cue studio.

Honestly though, the shock that was expressed when the protagonist sees that the body disappeared and the quick realisation of what transpired. Literally him piecing up that his dad dealt with the body, tells me that the protagonist hadn't pre-planned it. Also he is probably in shock from his wife's attempt, right on top of the loss of his son, doesn't give him enough time to plan that he can take advantage of his father's condition for his benefit. Just doesn't fit. If he needs to do that, wouldn't he need to be someone used to such shockful scenarios to even think straight? And be criminally minded to plan taking advantage? Nothing tells us this character was capable of that back then. I'm really impressed that such a possibility was thought of even. I mean this is honestly what reaction channels should be like. Not just reacting but honestly enjoying watching and sharing something new and going through the whole experience. Lots of love for this one ❤

Asif Ali is a very very underrated actor. His prowess in subtle acting is so good that we don't even notice it while watching a movie. Particularly in thrillers such as this, where you need to emote at many layers, so that there is hints, which is not obvious, but makes sense after the reveal.

Could u suggest more good films of him ?
@TheIndian-wh5lpКүн бұрын
@eshrajj7228 'Uyare' where he plays the antagonist is a really good performance by him. 'Anuraga Karikkin Vellam' is good too. 'Ketyolanu ente Malakaha' has given him good praise. In 'Virus', although he is just one among an ensemble cast, he has performed well. His work in Jithu Joseph's thriller 'Kooman' is really good. Then 'Kothu' by veteran director Sibi Malayil. 'Iblis' is a fantasy comedy which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I liked. And there is 'Kohinoor' a comedy heist movie, set in the 80s. This was actually a fun movie, and Asif himself had great expectations, but for some reasons didn't do well. Edit : 'Apothecary' where he plays a cancer patient is also said to be a good movie and his role also has been praised, but I have not watched it yet. And 'Traffic' although Asif plays only a minor role, is a very good road thriller.

He was not expecting his father to clean it up. Sorry Jaby, I think Achara is right here. He was just trying to help his wife first. And his father did him a favour. Ajayan would have done the same - there is no way he could give away his sick wife to prison. The film is all about the father taking away the burden from the son. But sadly he has to pay a price for that - had to go through the grief again and again - till the end of his life.
