Part 2, 2nd repair of Homelite Trimmer Trigger

In this Part 2 video I show you how I repaired a broken trigger on a 25 year old Homelite trimmer. In Part 1, I discuss the many things I have had to do to this trimmer to keep it running. I use it every year all spring, summer and into the fall for 25 years and of course things have worn out or broke over all those years of use. These are my notes from 2021, Homelite s825cdv Weed Whacker Flex trigger UP04134 Part discontinued no longer available, tried search engine, found some on Amazon $15 and some around $10 on Ebay, ordered the ebay on 10/14/2021, should receive in 4-5 days or by 10/20/2021. Mine is missing a post, going to try and drill and fix with JB Weld and a piece of wire. JB weld and wire worked. I now have brand new blue trigger when needed.
